I have personally known Alli for some time now and have always been encouraged by her strength and tenacity. When Alli said that she was going to train to do “Christ centred Yoga” I was thrilled. I had been looking for some time for somewhere to practice Yoga that centred around Jesus and not the other options. Alli completed her training and commenced classes. My Saturday morning is an hour of peace, relaxation and spiritual input. Alli has the unique ability to weave scripture, stretching and refreshment into her classes and I look forward to each Saturday with relish.
Accompanying Alli’s yoga is her candle making. When I heard that my friend was making candles and absolutely loving candles myself, I was happy to support her only to find out that she was making them and selling them for a charity. Alli receives no profit from these candles and I am totally in awe of her commitment and passion for her craft.
Alli is someone I greatly admire. I find comfort in our friendship and she is truly a person that I can confide in, share with and there is never any judgement just a place of refreshing, much like her Yoga classes and when I have a quiet moment to sit and enjoy, the aroma of one of her candles.
